Founder & Executive Director
Greer Kudon is a lifelong museum educator and administrator. She discovered her passion while attending Washington University in St. Louis when a perceptive college advisor recommended she pursue an internship in the teacher resource center at the St. Louis Art Museum. Since then, Greer has contributed to the education departments of prestigious institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Jewish Museum, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, shaping her vision for bringing Art on the Block NYC to fruition. Greer also had the privilege of serving as a New York City public school educator, instructing both 5th-grade bilingual (Spanish) and 3rd-grade classes. Inspired by numerous encounters with remarkably talented artists over the years, Greer established this organization. Beyond her dedication to art and museums, Greer, along with her husband, raised two children on the Upper West Side.
Secretary
Amy is a lifelong New Yorker who has always been passionate about the arts, education, and community outreach. Over her career she has worked at MoMA, The Noguchi Museum, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and is currently the Assistant Deputy Director, Education and Public Programs at the NYC Transit Museum.
Greer is the founder and Executive Director of Art on the Block NYC.
Treasurer
Julia has been living and working in New York City for the past 30 years. She is committed to supporting the NYC community in all ways from volunteering at soup kitchens to campaigning for candidates. She is a tax attorney and worked to support non profits early in her career.
Erica brings over 25 years of expertise as an occupational therapist, working with children and adults to support their growth, independence, and well-being. Her career has been defined by a commitment to creating meaningful and engaging activities that foster creativity and accessibility for all. Currently, Erica works at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta supporting families in the neonatal intensive care unit.
